Trailer Review: Isn’t It Romantic – Rebel Wilson Is A Delight To Watch

It’s fun, it’s cool and it’s a laugh riot, well, I am talking about the trailer of Isn’t It Romantic and the star Rebel Wilson that has just hit the net.

Rebel Wilson plays the role of a 25-year-old architect named Natalie, who detests romantic comedy films. In the trailer, a childhood version of Natalie’s (Rebel Wilson) wide-eyed character is watching Pretty Woman, only for her mom to interrupt the seminal ’90s rom-com to cynically remind her daughter that “love’s not a fairy tale” and “girls like us don’t get that.”

The story revolves around the New York City architect Natalie who works hard to get noticed at her job but is more likely to be asked to deliver coffee and bagels than to design the city’s next skyscraper.

After a freak accident, Natalie finds that her world has turned upside down and it has all things romantic. Things will only fall in place for Natalie only if she finds true love.

In all of this, we get to meet Priyanka Chopra, who plays the role of Isabella, a yoga ambassador. Priyanka Chopra gets two scenes in the trailer, but she makes the most of it. We also set to see several shirtless shots of Blake (Liam Hemsworth) and I am sure would make a lot of girls go weak in their knees.

Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody is the highlight of this trailer. It took me back in time and I am so looking forward to his one.

Isn’t It Romantic is one of three international projects Priyanka Chopra had signed up for. The first was Baywatch, in which she played the antagonist opposite Dwayne Johnson. Her other film is A Kid Like Jake. Priyanka Chopra had reportedly been signed opposite Chris Pratt in Cowboy Ninja Viking. However, the film had been postponed indefinitely for now.

Isn’t It Romantic is being directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and will be released on Valentine’s Day.
