The film is all about a tourist-pilgrim Mukku (Sara Ali Khan), who embarks on the 14-km journey from Gauri Kund to Kedarnath at a time when the sudden and devastating Kedarnath floods destroyed Uttarakhand in 2013.
We also get to meet a Muslim Pithu, one who carries pilgrims on their back, named Mansoor (Sushant Singh Rajput), who is a constant companion to Mukku, and during this journey the two weave a beautiful tale of love.
Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with the upcoming Abhishek Kapoor directorial, Kedarnath, which means, Simmba will be Sara’s second film.
In the one and a half minute long teaser, the makers have beautifully shown Sara and Sushant’s love story, their struggle and have captured the force of nature which destroyed everything. The most striking part of this teaser trailer is the fact that it has no dialogues. Both the actors look good together and I am sure would have crackling chemistry.
Earlier today, Sara took to her Instagram handle and shared the first poster of her debut film. Along with it, she wrote, “No tragedy, no wrath of nature, no act of God can defeat the power of love! Presenting the official Kedarnath Poster.”
All in all, Sara Ali Khan leaves a huge impression. She lights up the screen each time you get to see her. Sara looks stunning, fresh and is a star in the making.
Produced by Abhishek and Ronnie Screwvala, Kedarnath has been surrounded by a lot of controversies ever since its announcement. Initially, it was supposed to hit the theatres on November 30, 2018, but after all the delays, the makers have locked December 07, 2018 as the movie’s release date.
