Qismat is all about Shive (Ammy Virk) and Bani (Sargun Mehta). Now, Shive comes to Chandigarh and here he meets Bani. For him, it’s love at fight sight, but the issue is Shive has already been engaged to another girl.
What happens between Shive and Bani is what the Qismat is all about. Well, Qismat I must say is laced with loads of emotions, some amazing performances and last but not the least the music of the film.
The music of the film is exceptional and foot tapping and one can confidently say that in recent times, the romantic tracks are one of the best that any Punjabi film has had. The songs composed by B. Praak and written by Jaani are the soul and take the narrative forward.
One needs to give full marks to directed Jagdeep Sidhu, who has put together a film like Qismat, which is entertaining from the word go.
Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta share a strong onscreen chemistry and both Ammy and Sargun compliment each other. Ammy makes every word he says achievable in real life. He is one effortless and a powerhouse performer.
Sargun Mehta is a gem as she has portrayed Bani with a lot of finesse. Sargun lights up the screen everytime she walks in and in Qismat, Sargun is almost in every frame. Girl, you are a powerhouse performer and you have excelled beyond expectations. One also needs to applaud Malvika Kapoor who making Sargun look like a dream.
All in all, Qismat is a film that can very well pass off as a Bollywood film as the film is entertaining. The film will make you cry, it will make you laugh and it make you ask for me.
Do catch this one and fall in love all over again.
