Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar is all set to crown her successor at the grand finale in China on December 08, 2018.

The 68th edition of the beauty pageant is scheduled to take place in Sanya, China, where beauties from 118 countries would be competing against each other for the coveted Miss World 2018 title.

The 68th edition of the esteemed beauty pageant was declared open at Haikou Shi, Hainan, China in the presence of delegates, organizers, the reigning queen Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, former Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle and all the beautiful contestants.

Miss Julia Morley, Chairman of the Miss World Organization address the crowd as she declared the 68th edition of Miss World 2018 open.

All the beauty queens from all around the world gather on the stage as they are lead by Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar and Miss World 2016 Stephanie Del Valle for the opening ceremony of the Miss World 2018 beauty pageant.

The reigning queen, Miss World 2017, Manushi Chhillar, will crown her successor at the grand finale. Manushi is already in Sanya and has been interacting with the new contestants as well as attending charity events.

The ladies had the privilege to visit the Mei she river Feng Xiang wetland park, which was once wasteland and this was followed by a visit to San Jiao Chi Park, a once very run down old town with very bad conditions and hazards.

“Miss World 2018 representatives and reigning Miss World, Manushi Chhillar along with BWAP Ambassador Stephanie Del Valle visit San Jiao Chi Park. A once very run down old town with very bad conditions. After careful planning, regeneration, planting of trees and greenery, the park has transformed into an agricultural haven and tourist site to visit in Haikou.” captioned the Miss World organizers with a picture.

Femina Miss India World 2018, Anukreethy Vas is representing India at the event and we do hope that she gets the crown back home.

On this note, let’s wish all the 118 ladies all the very best for the grand finale.
