Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 9: Punit Pathak Takes Home The Winning Trophy

Punit Pathak has just been declared the winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 09, while Aditya Narayan was announced as the first runner up and Ridhima Pandit, the second runner up. Punit took home the prize money of Rs 20 lakh and a Swift car.

Choreographer, actor and a reality show judge, Punit Pathak has been the front runner from the word go. Punit was managed to perform almost all tasks efficiently and on time and was also seen motivating his co-contestants.

The grand finale, which took place on the sets of Rising Star Season 03, saw Akshay Kumar performing a spectacular stunt. Akshay Kumar who was the host for Khatron Ke Khiladi Seaosn 01, Season 02 and Season 04, shared his Khatron Ke Khiladi memories while interacting with Rohit Shetty. He also promoted his upcoming film Kesari and even showcased the trailer of the film.

Bharti Singh along with her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa also promoted their upcoming show, Khatra Khatra Khatra which will start airing from tomorrow, March 11, 2019.

Shankar Mahadevan and Diljit Dosanjh, the celebrity judges of Rising Star Season 03, were also present to promote their singing reality show which is being anchored by Aditya Narayan. The show premieres March 16, 2019.

Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 09 was shot in Argentina and had celebrity contestants like Bharti Singh, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Shamita Shetty, Aly Goni, Jasmin Bhasin, Zain Imam, Ridhima Pandit, Avika Gor, Vikas Gupta and Sreesanth vying for the coveted title.

Shamita Shetty, Punit Pathak, Aditya Narayan, Riddhima Pandit and Aly Goni, were the five finalists. As expected, Bharti Singh was the most entertaining contestant and her involvement and competitive spirit made her one of the most loveable contestant in the show.

This year, the makers decided to upgrade the difficulty level a notch this season. Almost every task had insects or reptiles crawling about near the contestants as they struggled to complete the tasks.
