The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards belonged to both Game Of Thrones And Marvelous Mrs. Maisel walked away with top honours.

The 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards wrapped Monday night. Hollywood actors gathered at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles for television’s biggest night. The 70th edition of the Primetime Emmy Awards show was hosted by Michael Che and Colin Jost.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel was just marvellous as it walked away with awards in five different categories: Writing, Directing, Comedy Series, Lead Actor as well as Supporting Actress. Limited series The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story walked away with three wins of it’s own.

Going into the ceremony, Netflix had the most nominations among networks, a first for the streaming service, but in the end, it just couldn’t defeat a Television Academy favourite, Game Of Thrones, for Outstanding Drama.
