Today, January 05, 2019, Deepika Padukone has turned 33, and as a return gift to her fans and followers, she has launched her own website.
The website gives details about Deepika’s career and also showcases her journey in Bollywood, including her films, the brands she endorses and the magazine covers she has been featured on.
Apart from that, it features all landmarks that the actor has achieved so far in her career and also the awards she has received. It also highlights Live Love Laugh, a foundation Deepika has been supporting, which emphasises on mental health awareness.
Deepika was supposed to make her debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s Saawariya. However, Sanjay went ahead and cast Sonam Kapoor instead. However, Deepika’s debut film, Om Shanti Om, released on the same day as Saawariya, and as they say, the rest is history.
From the time she has entered Bollywood, there has been no looking back for her. She has been a part of some huge blockbuster films and even made her Hollywood debut with xXx: Return Of Xander Cage, where she was part of an ensemble cast, led by Fast and Furious star Vin Deisel.
Deepika made her first Cannes red appearance back in 2010 as the brand ambassador of Chivas Regal. From 2017 she has been walking the red carpet at The Cannes Film Festival as the brand ambassador for L’Oreal.
