Back in September 2018, the moment Rishi Kapoor announced that he was headed for the US for his treatment, speculations flew, as many thought, he could be suffering from cancer. However, his elder brother, Randhir Kapoor, rubbished such talks and stated that things are not what people are speculating it to be.
However, after months of speculations, Rishi Kapoor has finally broken his silence and has opened up about his illness. "My treatment is on, hopefully, I will recover soon and God willing I will return. The procedure is long and tedious and one needs immense patience which unfortunately is not one of my virtue." stated the actor in an exclusive interview to a leading entertainment portal.
He also added how he was treating his time away from films as a much-needed break. He said that he hoped to return to work but will certainly not rush into things.
"Thankfully, I am not thinking about films anymore, just want to be blank and refresh myself with a more relaxed mind. This break shall be therapeutic for me."
Neetu Kapoor has been providing regular updates for fans on her social media - from family meet-ups to random encounters with other Bollywood celebrities. She recently shared pictures from the Kapoor family's New Year's celebrations.
