Shah Rukh Khan is set to collaborate with Amitabh Bachchan one more time, but this time not as an actor, but as a producer.
Yes, you heard this one right, Badla marks the collaboration between producer Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. The film is being directed by Sujoy Ghosh and also reunites Pink actors Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan.
Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to share the first look posters of Sujoy Ghosh's Badla. The film stars Pink's lead actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu.
"Main aap se Badla lene aa raha hoon Amitabh Bachchan Saab! Taiyaar rahiyega." Shah Rukh wrote in a tweet to tease the poster. King Khan then followed this tweet with another, sharing two posters from the film. Ab mahaul kuch Badla Badla sa lag raha hai. Here's the first look of Badla featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu! Directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Badla Trailer Out Tomorrow," he wrote.
Mr Bachchan too shared the same two posters via his social accounts and captioned it as, "Arey bhai Shah Rukh Khan, Badla lene ka time toh nikal gaya. Ab toh sab ko Badla dene ka time hai."
Badla is reportedly a remake of 2016 Spanish film, The Invisible Guest. It is the director-actor duo's third collaboration, after Aladin, and TE3N, which Sujoy had produced. "I am very excited about this film. People wait to work with him and I got to work with him twice in two years. It gives me a lot of excitement and I hope the magic gets repeated. When people say, Bachchan Sir and I are a hit pair, it excites me," Taapsee told PTI about their collaboration in Badla.
Mr Bachchan last film was Thugs Of Hindostan, which also starred Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif. On the other hand, Taapsee was last seen in Manmarziyaan with Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal.
