From the time Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have got engaged, there have been talks about their wedding date. While some celebs rush to get their wedding planned and tie the knot, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are not that IT couple as they are in no rush to marry.
When questioned about her wedding plans Jennifer Lopez stated that Alex and she are in no hurry cause they are not that kind couple who would want to rush into matrimony.
Jennifer Lopez or JLo, as she is lovingly called, stressed that because they have the rest of their lives to be married, they want to take their time planning the ceremony. "There's no rush. We really see this as something that's gonna be forever, and we're gonna just take our time and do it right. And do it not rushed." stated the superstar.
Lopez did admit that she has been looking at everything, from dresses to wedding venues since Rodriguez proposed to her in March, but marriage will happen only when they have time. As no now both are busy working.
Jennifer Lopez just wrapped by filming Hustlers earlier this year. Now, she's about to start her It's My Party tour, created in part to celebrate her upcoming 50th birthday in July. She told Entertainment Tonight the vibe there is going to be well, super celebratory.
"It's going to be a concert tour, but my aim is to make it feel like an intimate party as well, we're all celebrating together. We're dancing, we're singing, we're having a good time. I want to create a different atmosphere than normal just watch me do my thing. I want it to be interactive." stated JLo.
Jennifer Lopez has been married three times. She was married to Ojani Noa, then to a back-up dancer Cris Judd, and her third marriage was with singer Marc Anthony, with whom she has 11-year-old twins. She also had a high-profile relationship with actor Ben Affleck.
On the other hand, Alex Rodriguez, 43, retired from Major League Baseball in 2016, after a lengthy career, mostly with the New York Yankees. He won one World Series title with the Yankees and was an All-Star 14 times. His achievements were tarnished by his admission that he used performance-enhancing drugs and was suspended for the entire 2014 season.
Alex Rodriguez currently works as an on-air baseball analyst and has been married once to Cynthia Scurtis. Together they have two daughters.
