One of the most anticipated films of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood finally hit the Cannes 2019 red carpet. With an array of actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Kurt Russell, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Luke Perry, Margaret Qualley, and last but not the least Al Pacino, everyone was eagerly awaiting the actors to arrive at the red carpet.
Needless to say, it was a major red carpet moment for the stars of the film and it was just as stylish as you'd expect. But they weren't the only folks who looked stellar on the French Riviera. Apart from the stellar star cast, one saw Sonam Kapoor, Winnie Harlow and many more celebrities attending the gala.
Fans along with the shutterbugs went crazy as the stars stepped on the red carpet. Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie, gamely posed for selfies and signed autographs.
The film received a six-minute standing ovation as the credit rolled out. Post the premiere, team Once Upon A Time In Hollywood had the customary media interaction.
The received plenty of praise on Twitter, with Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio both mentioned for their exceptional performances, while the production was also referred to as Quentin Tarantino's most tender film. It did receive some criticism however for its lack of female characters.
Although a new trailer was released this week, much of the plot still remains under wraps and will continue to do so as Tarantino and the cast have asked critics not to release any spoilers about how the movie plays out.
Set at the fag end of the 1960s, hangs around the relationship between Rick Dalton, a fading television star pondering a new career in Italy, and his stunt double Cliff Booth. Leonardo DiCaprio, who really shouldn't be in middle age yet, is ragged and shaky as Dalton.
The Cannes Film Festival which kicked off on May 14, 2019, will end on May 25, 2019.
