Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's Instagram posts suggest that they have got engaged on Valentine's Day.

The photo features a close-up shot of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom and she is seen sporting a flower-shaped diamond ring with a pink stone in the centre. They are surrounded by some heart-shaped balloons.

Both singer Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom shared a similar post on their respective accounts. While Orlando captioned it as, "Lifetimes", Katy went on to caption the same picture as, "Full Bloom."

Katy's mother Mary Hudson also shared images of the emotional proposal on Facebook, with the caption, "Look who got engaged last night."

Apparently, Orlando proposed to Katy after their Valentine's Day dinner. The proposal was a complete surprise as the couple have been discussing getting engaged for a while now. However, Katy did not think it was going to happen so soon. Orlando proposed to Katy in private just the two of them after their Valentine's Day dinner celebration.

If this not romantic enough, Orlando had already planned a surprise party for Katy Perry by inviting some 30 of close friends 30 of Katy's closest friends at a private penthouse in Downtown Los Angeles.

"I'm very pragmatic and logistical and I am less fantastical about things. I mean, I was married when I was 25. I'm 34. It was almost 10 years ago. I was like, one person for the rest of my life, and I'm not so sure if that idea id for me. I'm just such a different person than I was." Katy recently told Paper Magazine.

Back in January 2016, Katy, 34, and Orlando, 42, sparked romance rumours after getting flirty at the 73rd Golden Globes after party.

However, the couple confirmed their split in February 2017. They resumed their relationship in April 2018 and since then, they have tried to keep their relationship private.

It would be a second marriage for both of them. Katy was previously married to British comedian Russell Brand, while Orlando was married to model Miranda Kerr, with whom he has an eight-year-old son named Flynn Christopher.
