Amy Jackson and George Panayiotou are all set to have a big, fat Greek wedding in 2020. Just a month ago, on January 01, 2019, Amy and George shared their engagement news and now the couple is planning to have a typical Greek style wedding in 2020.
Apparently, the duo has already started preparing for their D-day and is making sure that their destination wedding is nothing but perfect.
The couple did a lot of recce before deciding on the venue which is likely to be somewhere near Mykonos Island as Amy wanted to have a beach wedding. They will tie the knot in a Christian style wedding and it would be a close-knit affair with family and close friends in attendance.
"After considering several locations, they decided on Greece because she wanted a beach-side venue for her special day. They are looking at villas near Mykonos Island and will tie the knot as per Christian rituals. Amy fell in love with the beautiful locale when she visited it last year with her husband-to-be," stated a source close to the couple.
Raised in Liverpool, Amy Jackson began modelling at the age of 16. After winning Miss Teen World in the year 2009 she has starred in several films across languages such as Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.
Amy began her acting career in India with the 2011 Tamil movie Madraspattinam, in which she played the role of a British woman during the pre-Independence era. She was awarded the most promising newcomer award in 2012 for her Hindi film Ekk Deewana Tha, a remake of the Tamil Gautham Menon directorial Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. She also recently starred in her first Hollywood role as Imra Ardeen in Supergirl.
She was last seen in the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 and The Villain starring Shiva Rajkumar, Sudeep, Mithun Chakraborty, and Meka Srikanth.
