Karn Sangini, the show that went on air on October 22, 2018, on Star Plus, is set to bid farewell to his viewers on February 25, 2019. The show stars Aashim Gulati as Karn, Tejasswi Prakash as Uruvi and Kinshuk Vaidya as Arjuna.

Karn Sangini is based on a fiction novel Karna's Wife: The Outcast's Queen written on Karan's life. Uruvi shares a strong bond of friendship with Arjun. Arjun has been in love with Uruvi since childhood but Uruvi considers him nothing more than a best friend. Karn, on the other hand, who is considered of low caste because he was disowned by Kunti at his birth and adopted by a family of low caste; falls in love with Uruvi, who stands up with Karn against all odds. Breaking the barriers of class and caste, it's a handbook on selfless love.

Sadly, this love story was a non-starter from the word go. The show failed to deliver in numbers and just week's after it's launch, it was on a sticky wicket.

As far as the actors are considered, well, none of them has had a great run for a while now. Kinshuk Vaidya was last seen in shows Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka (Sony Entertainment Television) and Woh Apna Sa (Zee TV), Aashim Gulati has been a part of two dud shows, Gulmohar Grand and Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara, both on Star Plus, and last but not the lest Tejasswi Prakash has the ill-fated Pehredaar Piya Ki followed by its sequel Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya behind her. Both her shows were telecast on Sony Entertainment Television.

Coming back to Karn Sangini, well, there were high expectations from this epic drama series, but it has not been able to attract eyeballs and hence the channel has decided to take the show off air.

With Karn Sangini coming to an end, we are all awaiting a replacement announcement from Star Plus.
