Vidyut Jammwal starrer Junglee which was supposed to release on April 05, 2109, has been preponed by a week and will arrive in theatres a week early, March 29, 2019.

Junglee which was supposed to clash with John Abraham's spy thriller RAW: Romeo Akbar Walter, but will now clash with Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal's Notebook, which has been produced by Salman Khan and is an official remake of The Teacher's Diary by Nithiwat Tharatorn.

The official synopsis of the movie reads, "Raj (Vidyut Jammwal) a vet in his thirties, lives in Mumbai and runs a flourishing veterinary clinic. He is a devoted Kalaripayattu martial artist who works hard and has all a man could want. Turn of events makes him visit his hometown after 10 years. A renowned elephant sanctuary where lives his father and childhood elephant friend, Bhola. The emotional homecoming soon turns into a revenge drama which exposes the underbelly of poaching racket that was flourishing in this quaint village. Raj and Bhola's tender friendship, a bond forged in childhood, shows that they love just as fiercely as they fight the bad guys."

Director Chuck Russell is very happy to have cast Vidyut Jammwal in the film and states that he could not have imagined anyone but Vidyut essay Raj.

"For the first time, I met Vidyut Jammwal, I could imagine no one else in this role. He has a charm and good humour that is rarely combined with such physicality. In that way, it reminds me of meeting Dwayne Jhonson for the first time, for his leading role on Scorpion King. We were compared to Dwayne Jhonson, which has certainly boosted Vidyut's performance in the movie." stated Chuck Russell.

Apparently, the makers are reportedly eyeing the post-exam holiday mood as Junglee is a perfect attraction for the family audience and will for sure appeal to the kids.

Directed by Chuck Russell, Junglee stars Vidyut Jammwal, Pooja Sawant, Vicky Kadian, Asha Bhat, Makarand Deshpande, Atul Kulkarni, and Akshay Oberoi.
