Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and a few more actors and filmmakers met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and clicked a selfie with him.

It was reported that the meeting was organised by Karan Johar and Mahavir Jain to discuss their participation and contribution towards nation building.

They talked about how the industry has always played an important role in building a better nation, a better society through entertainment. They also spoke about various issues concerning the film industry and thanked and acknowledged Prime Minister for GST change and giving space to the industry to connect.

Karan Johar shared the picture via his Instagram account and thanked the Prime Minister for his time and the reduction of GST on movie tickets.

"Powerful and timely conversations can bring about change and this was one of what we hope will become a regular conversation.
