Finally, all the speculations have been put to rest as its now official that it will be Alia Bhatt who will share screen space alongside Salman Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next, which has been titled, Inshallah.

Alia Bhatt took on to Twitter to make this news official. "I was 9 when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. It's been a long wait. Dream with your eyes wide open they say and I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together and I can't wait to join them on this beautiful journey called Inshallah." tweeted Alia.

Salman too took on to his social media account to inform his fans about Inshallah. "It's been 20 years, but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to working with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey." wrote the actor who will be next seen in Bharat opposite Katrina Kaif.

Earlier this year, Prerna Singh, CEO of Bhansali Productions, said in a statement, "Sanjay Leela Bhansali puts all speculations to rest as he announces his next directorial. The magic of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was missed by fans for 20 years and left them waiting for the director-actor to reunite. After Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Salman Khan come together in a love story."

Inshallah will mark Salman Khan's fourth collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the other three being, Khamoshi: The Musical (1996), Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), and Saawariya (2007).

On the work front, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's last film was the period drama Padmaavat starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of Bharat, which will release during Eid this year, while Alia Bhatt's Kalank will hit screens on April 17, 2019. Alia also has S.S. Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR, Brahmastra, Takht and Sadak 2 in her kitty.
