After making a style statement in a custom made golden Kanjivaram saree by Bengaluru's Madhurya Creations and a corset by Falguni and Shane Peacock, Kangana Ranaut opted for a sensuous soft and feminine gown by Filipino fashion designer Micheal Cinco.
The off-white gown had a lavender undertone, which she accessorised with pink diamond statement earrings from Chopard and complimented it with similar eye makeup. Kangana looked nothing less than a princess.
"I am wearing a Michael Cinco Couture gown, with pink and lavender hues and it's jewelled. It is very structured but at the same time, it has an absolutely romantic vibe to it. It is fierce and translucent but has a romantic vibe," Kangana, who is here courtesy a brand association with Grey Goose, said in a statement.
Earlier, the Manikarnika star deliberated on the bad working conditions for technicians on a film set and also talked about her idea of nationalism during her talk at the Cannes Film Festival Indian Pavilion.
This is Kangana's second year at Cannes. This year, she is joined by several Indian celebrities at the French Riviera. Actors like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Hina Khan are also attending the festival.
On the work front, Kangana has four upcoming projects. She will reunite with Rajkummar Rao in the comic thriller Mental Hai Kya, and star as a kabaddi player in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's sports film Panga. She will also direct and star in a film based on her own life, and portray the politician Jayalalithaa in a bilingual biopic entitled Thalaivi in Tamil and Jaya in Hindi. She was last seen in Manikarnika in the titular role of Rani Of Jhansi.
The prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2019 started off with a bang on May 14, 2019, and film personalities from all over the world have descended upon the French Riveria to make a splash. The festival will end on May 25, 2019.
