The trailer of the film PM Narendra Modi has finally been dropped online and this one is set to tell us the tale of our current Prime Minister Narendra Modi from a kid to him finally becoming the Prime Minister of India.

The two-minute-and-35-second trailer of PM Narendra Modi begins with fleeting images of the run-up to the 2014 elections, a biased television anchor planning a prime time show on the end of Narendra Modi, followed by the introduction of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister.

I am sure the film will have loads of interesting facts about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, especially about his personal life like young Narendra informing his mother about wanting to renounce the world, wandering in the Himalayas and finally joining the RSS.

There is also reference to Indira Gandhi and the Emergency that shows Narendra Modi courting arrest. Modi is shown as a man of action in the trailer, rescuing Muslims during the communal riots in Gujarat in 2002, personally supervising the response to the attack on the Akshardham temple in 2002, and talking tough against Pakistan.

The trailer also contains glimpses from Modi's childhood, his years as a tea seller, his RSS training, and his years in self-imposed exile from marriage and family.

However, Vivek Oberoi, who has a herculean task of playing Narendra Modi does not stand out. His look and the prosthetics do little to make him look like our Prime Minister and that's one thing that may just pull this dramatic tale down.

Directed by Omung Kumar, PM Narendra Modi stars Vivek Oberoi, Manoj Joshi, Darshan Kumaar, Boman Irani, Barkha Bisht, Zarina Wahab, Prashant Narayanan, and Akshat R. Saluja.

Produced by Sandip Ssingh, Suresh Oberoi, and Anand Pandit, the film is set to release on April 05, 2019 in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
